Without a doubt, much of The Ship's appeal is in its signature look and feel. You cannot miss The Ship from the outside as its frontage is like no other - no one else has the facade of a full-brown life-sized hull of a Ship right in the middle of town! On the inside, the allure is enhanced by the selective use of colours and tones, and the distinctive appearance created by the generous use of Meranti wood on the ceilings and walls.

Much of the wooden furniture, lighting, pictures, artefacts and decorations were exclusively designed and manufactured for The Ship and all blend and lend to the charm of the nautical theme. In fact, it has been said that The Ship was indeed Malaysia's first and original concept of a "themed" restaurant.
